The problem

Sold out shouldn’t mean goodbye — and a restock shouldn’t be a secret.

A product page with no add-to-cart is a dead end. The shopper wanted it. You restock later and post a story. The people who asked last month never hear, so they buy somewhere else — and you still don’t know how many to order next time.

Trusted by startups and growing Shopify stores

Let’s hear how merchants feel about the apps.

I installed HustlePop, changed the headline, and had emails coming in before lunch. That’s the whole review.

Notify Me has been a key partner in restock week. The waitlist hears it before I post anything.

Wishlist has been a game-changer for us. The heart looks native, and people actually come back for what they saved.

We’re extremely satisfied with MOQ. Tiny orders stopped eating the margin — customers just buy the six-pack now.

We’ve seen the list grow without babysitting the popup. It looks like us, not a template.

Their restock email is the one thing I don’t have to remember. Inventory moves, the list hears it.

Wishlist plus save-for-later saved the cart. People park two items and still check out with the one they meant to buy.

Features

The parts that actually matter.

  1. A button where add-to-cart was

When a variant is unavailable, shoppers see “Notify me” — same spot, same size. Coming soon and pre-launch products can use it too.

  2. Inventory sends the restock note

When a variant goes from zero to in-stock, subscribers get the email. You don’t export a CSV at midnight.

  1. A letter that sounds like you

Edit the subject and the short note. Keep it as simple as “It’s back — here’s the link.”

  2. You see the demand

A tidy list per product and variant. Restock with a number, not a guess — and send a one-off if you want a head start.

The oak desk is back.

You asked us to write when it returned. Walnut, same price.

  1. Don’t email the whole list at once

If stock is tight, notify in waves so the first people to hear actually have a chance to buy.

  2. Quiet by default

One email per restock. People who already bought drop off the list. No weekly digest they didn’t ask for.

How it works

Three steps. Then you’re done.

  1. 01

    Install Notify Me

The button takes the place of add-to-cart when a variant can’t be sold. Inventory hooks in automatically.

  2. 02

    Check the restock email

A simple “it’s back” note is ready. Add your voice if you want to.

  3. 03

    Let it run

Shoppers join the waitlist. The next time stock returns, they hear it first.

FAQ

Questions we hear first.

Does this include back-in-stock emails?+

Yes. Notify Me is the storefront button and waitlist. When Shopify inventory moves from 0 to available, the restock email goes out automatically. You can still send a note yourself if you want a head start.

Can I use it before a product launches?+

Yes. Mark a product as coming soon and the button collects interest before you ever hold inventory.

What if I only restocked 8 units and 80 people are waiting?+

Use staggered sends. The first group gets the email now; the rest wait so you don’t disappoint the whole list.

Do shoppers need an account?+

No. An email (and optional phone number) is enough. You can still attach the request to a customer if they’re signed in.
